Huna Massage training consists of 7 modules. Each module expands on the knowledge and information learned in the previous module and includes many different components. The first four modules are two or two and a half day workshops and modules 5,6 and 7 is a five day live in retreat.

The training is spread out over a twelve month period which gives the student time to practice and acquire skills and experience and time to experience new life skills which enable them to let go of limiting beliefs and take control of their lives and life experiences in a more positive and powerful way.

MODULE ONE

Instruction in basic footwork required to find your flow with-in the massage. Massage techniques using the forearms on the back and front of the body. Correct posture while massaging to prevent muscle strain. The seven principals of Huna Philosophy. Finding your flow and "Flying".

MODULE TWO

Instruction on advanced massage techniques using the forearms and hands, working beneathe the body using long flowing strokes. Pregnancy massage HUNA style, life perspectives ( The four worlds ). Practising of massage techniques, revision of module one techniques to check posture and refresh the memory.

SAT & SUN 9am to 5pm Both Days COST $280.00

MODULE THREE

The heart work method, using special breathing technique. Hand techniques including thumbing, knuckling, kneading. Energy sensing exercises, body reading, meditation and practce of massage techniques. Revision of module 2 and posture check.

SAT & SUN 9 am to 5pm Both Days COST $320.00

MODULE FOUR

Emotional release techniques using hot stones, vibration, variation of speed and pressure, use of energy. Mastering your technique, feeling your massage. Joint mobility, polarity balancing. Practice of massage technique and revision of module3 techniques and posture.

MODULE FIVE, SIX AND SEVEN

Our minds and how they interact. Healing and modes of expression, use of sound, words and colour as tools for the healing process, toning and drumming, hot stone massage, signs and symbols, crystals, seeing auras, energy, intuition and guidance. To sense, transform and direct energy, food conciousness and awareness, meditation. Two on one massage, blinfolded massage and much more

To finish the seven modules we have a five day retreat course where we leave the world outside and behind and stay completely focussed on ourselves for the whole five days. This is a very powerful experience, one not to be missed!
